Here is a solid walnut tray that I carved from a solid walnut log. This piece has a natural live edge look and is beautiful.
This is tray is perfect for displaying on your kitchen island or perhaps the living room.
It measures 23" long x 13" wide and 2" high.
It takes several months to select the wood, cut to a rough shape with a chainsaw, and carve and shape to the final form. Finally, sanding and sealing with several coats of a durable oil-urethane topcoat. Then the topcoat is hand rubbed to a smooth, satin sheen which brings out the deep rich, chocolate brown color of the walnut.
This is an heirloom quality piece which will complement your home.
